Our mulberry tree always seems to drop its leaves all at once, rather late in the season. Wednesday was the day this year, and the result (leaves falling so fast that we could just them rustling as they landed) was spectacular despite the tree battling anthracnose and having smaller than usual leaves at the tips.

I have little to show for the last few weeks; I have performed my usual duties adequately, but all of my projects are stalled.
