George's Pillowcase

This pillowcase is embroidered with glow in the dark thread (DMC E940). I am not a huge fan of it - it's very shreddy/snaggy to work with, and the glow isn't nearly as bright as I would hope for .

Bowser's Shell

I finished Bowser's shell. I wish it was slightly larger, but it's near enough.

Bowser's arm bands are also underway, and these are made with black felt and silver lamé.

Monty (apparently) needs a Bowser costume. I purchased Princess Peach for me, and Mario and Luigi for the kids, but a minimal and wearable Bowser doesn't seem to be available off the shelf.

I need 9 more spikes, and that part is slow going. I am pleased with how the edging helps it hold its shape, and generally pleased with polyester upholstery batting (the stuff in sheets) as a building material. I am slightly dubious about the spikes, and unpleased with the fact that it's slightly smaller than intended.
