This pillowcase is embroidered with glow in the dark thread (DMC E940). I am not a huge fan of it - it's very shreddy/snaggy to work with, and the glow isn't nearly as bright as I would hope for .

A Perler Bead Phase
Submitted by cfox@mit.edu on
Denton had fun with perler beads for a while at his age, and now George loves them too. This kit is a bit annoying to wrangle (it's stingily provisioned, and the instructions needed to be debugged) but has fairly satisfying results. I vented by chewing them up on their amazon review.

George levels up on puzzles
Submitted by cfox@mit.edu on
George and I have both been home sick, but today we're both doing better. He had spent quite a while where he did puzzles by turning them out upsidedown, and then replacing them in the frame piece by piece, in order. This distressed me a bit, but he's finally over it. Today he picked the fish puzzle out of the pile and solved it without hesitation.

George, drawing
Submitted by cfox@mit.edu on
George has levelled up his pen grip.
I'm not quite sure what he's drawing. He said something about "daddy's favorite yogurt" which Monty tells me is an Umizoomi thing.
