Sherman came to us from the ARL Dedham Shelter (we're doing a foster-to-adopt, since he has health concerns they want to address before finalizing it).  We've had him a week now and love him very much.

He's guessed at being a lab/mastiff mix, and is in the ballpark of 90lbs (and gaining, since he came in significantly underweight) - he's roughly 27" tall at the shoulder, and makes Stella look petite and graceful.  We don't have much of his backstory, beyond that he was trapped by ARL during the mid-January cold snap, after the Neeham animal control had been unsuccessful at catching him.

Stella has gotten him to play with her just a little bit.  He takes the children in stride, and is often found lying next to Denton when he's in the living room.
