It was a good weekend for wildlife in Jaffrey. The water snake was down by the shore of Gilmore Pond.
The beaver skull was wide out in the open, just as shown, deep in the woods.
The spring peeper was on Monty's living room window. I am now a little lost identification-wise; I thought the other frog sitting on a window (photographed last summer) was a grey tree frog, but now I think it was also a spring peeper because they seem very similar to each other. In any case, this one pretty clearly has the X mark on the back. Of course no size reference photographed with either, but the one shown is about 3/4" long. It was able to walk about a foot up the surface of the window.
