Monty and I spent the weekend camping at Pine Haven, while visiting the kids at camp. Naturally, there was some moth hunting. This sphinx moth was in the bucket when we unpacked it on Saturday morning. I got several pictures showing the distinctive hindwing markings, but this one that Monty took as it fluttered on my hand, I think is the best. I think it's Twin-spotted Sphinx (Smerinthus jamaicensis). Wentworth NH, 2016/08/06.
