This lively little moth Monty and I caught up with just outside his back door. It didn't stop long, so I had to make do with the picture I grabbed. I think it's "white-striped black" (Trichodezia albovittata). Jaffrey NH, 2017/05/27.

Last night it was rainy and I didn't get a big haul of moths; just one in the bucket (though I'll post it later) and I had hung the sheet against Monty's garage door (so I could keep the battery inside and not risk it getting rained on). Tonight, plenty of moths, but also many huge june beetles, so I am keeping the bucket trap blocked off (the big buzzy beetles will otherwise chew up any moths that get trapped with them).
